1st part of Cuz visit to Toronto.

Wow its been awhile since i last updated again. Pretty much the same as always. Just been busy with work as usual n stuff. Recently my cuz family from s'pore came down for a visit. My cuz flew in from uk as hes currently studying there. Havent seen my cuz since i was 15! Was great to catch upw/ them again aft so long. Didnt get much time off from work. Managed to take them out to a few places tho. Took like 100+ pics, will post a couple up aftwards. Felt like a tourist visiting Canada again! Haha. Walking around n taking a bunch of pics.

Its such a nice day today! Just about going into the heart of summer rite now. Last week was bit cool. Its nice n hot today! Think its like 22C. Work's been crazy! Been sleeping late for awhile now. Trying to sleep earlier! Went to bed around 2am last nite n slept at like 4am the nite b4! Came home from work last nite at bout 12amish n at bout 2am the nite b4.

Oh b4 i forget, Happy belated Canada's day! Ask me how i spend my canada's day(public holiday)? I was at work for 10hrs! Anyways, on a side note, MJ passed on?! I was at work n my co-workers got text saying he died?! We all thought it was a joke or something at 1st?! Yeesh.

Oh yea, to all loyal united fans as well, 'OWEN SHOCKING TRANSFER TO UNITED?!!' Lol, didnt see that one coming?! Guess we'll have to wait n c if he proves useful. Anyways thats all for now.

2nd part of my trip back to m'sia.


Yes yes i know, long overdue for an update again! Haha. Well a quick one anyways. It's warmed up a bit these days. The temp these days is anywhere in between 5C to -10C. Spring is finally coming! Just a couple more weeks now, tho we'r prolly gonna get another couple of snow days again. Not quite short n tee shirt weather in spring but least no heavy sweaters n jackets!

Anyways back to the 2nd part of my trip in m'sia. Don't really remember as much by now. Lol. Anyways, the ending part of my vacation felt bit rush. Cuz didnt get to meet up or hang out as much with some of my frens like i wanted to. U guys know who u r. Sry again. Anyways most of u guys already seen most of my pics on fb, so dont think im gonna post any more pics from my m'sian trip. Yea not really in the mood to blog these days. Much prefer to go on fb. Lol. Well wait till i get into the mood to blog again or i've something inspiring to blog bout. Till then, Josh out.

Part 1
1st part of my trip back to m'sia.


It's been awhile again. Yes im back from my trip. Time to get back to reality..............n shoveling snow. Haha. Missing everyone a lot already. Not to mention the food. *wipes drips of saliva. Lolz. It was really good....no wait scratch that, it was fantastic to b able to sink my teeth into a big chopstick(?) full of 'char kuay teow' at my fav coffee shop from the same shop that i used to order from when i last lived in m'sia. I actually remembered the guy who takes your drink orders down at this place in taman tun called 'Yong len'. Lolz. Yea the shop was well known for its 'char kuay teow' n 'siew yoke fan' besides a bunch of other things that would take up too much space for me to blog about. Business was so good that they could afford to close for dinner. FYI i had it twice in a row, the 2nd n 3rd day i was back. I would have gone on the 1st day itself, if a cls frens mom hadnt cooked lunch for us.(It was the best mee siam i ever had in my life.) Cheryl, pls thank your mom again, n tell her shes more than welcome to come over n come for us anytime! Anyways, even tho u guys know how much i like my food, n i do like it alot! Haha. I think i would have flew back just to see some of my frens n family again. It was great to meet up with my cuz, all my childhood frens( u guys know who u r) n to everyone whom i just met on this trip back, it was really great to met u guys as well n hope we can stay in touch somehow. Got some really priceless memories. Some that i managed to capture on camera n some hopefully i'll remember as long as i can in my head.

Wow that was one paragraph already! Lolz. The weather is really cold here. It was pretty much snowing non stop since i got back cept for like y'day n today but it mite snow tmr. I had to shovel snow on the 2nd day that i was back. That was pretty bad since i wasnt used to it plus i did my entire driveway myself. I was pretty much frozen halfway thru. My ears n face n my thighs literally felt like ice! Haha. Anyone wanna come help me? Anyways wanna say thanks to some of my frens. U guys deff made my trip back to m'sia so much more fun n worth it. So glad i went back. It was worth every penny n effort spent. Anyways think i'll stop here n just let the pics show what i want to say.

So how was everyone's thanksgiving been? No turkey this year. Didn't feel like cooking. So we just headed out for dinner with all the family n all. Just normal chinese dinner.

Sry for not replying to your msgs sooner guys, but wed was one of the worst bday ever. Woke up with a sore throat n flu. Been recovering since. Thankfully the sore throat n flu's gone but now have a cough n phelghm( not sure if thats the right spelling). Lolz, feeling so old now, hehe. i've turned 26! So anyways cuz i wasnt feeling well, didnt really do much. Just went for a haircut. Went for dinner, came back n had some cake, that was bout it.

Just going into fall season rite now. Didnt thought i would actually say this but, great!, its fall right now! lolz, y u ask, cuz i much prefer summer then winter, n even tho its onli fall right now that means that winter is just around the corner. But anyways where was i? oh yea, this time around, the sooner it is to winter the better(yes yes i know!) i'll feel. Hehe yes yes u guys should know y. It just means thats its so much closer to that time.

Anyways works pretty much as busy as ever. Hopefully it will all end soon. Been working lots n pulling quite a few doubles to cover shifts. Mostly as we really short staff right now, as lots of staff have either gone back to school or gone back to other jobs or have just quit. Hopefully it will all quieten down by next week oct. Anyways, not much else to say so gonna just leave with a long overdue announcement/pic.

Whats the big deal u ask? Well, gonna b an UNCLE!!! Its the 1st one in our family, 1st one in his family n its the 1st one among all my cuz! Bout 2 months left roughly. So excited!

Hey y'all. It's been a while since i last blog. Been busy as usual. In between watching the olympics, work n all. oh left hand is healing nicely(that u guys for keeping me in prayer n thought), almost as good as new, i guess. Still little tender when i touch it. Stitches r out, usually just put on a band aid at work, not as bad if i smack it or rub it against anything by accident. Still red, n have a nice big scar to show for it now.

Everyone watch the opening ceremony for olympics btw? Sad to say i didnt catch it, as i had to go to work early n was really tired, couldnt get up to watch it. So 'malu', canada such a big nation n we entered like 300+ atheletes, we only managed to get like 7 medals in the past week or days. shesh, US has like 65 medals!! geez!

Aunt n family just came down this past sat for a visit. Their staying for the week at our basement. Gonna cook a nice gourmet meal for them n another aunts family on tues nite. Hopefull everything turns out good. Mite take some pics, donno yet, we'll c. Anyways thats all for now.

Sheesh! Stupid me, still cant believe i did that! Went to work on wed, was portioning some veal chops, took of a chunk of flesh by accident where my pinkie connects to my hand. Blood actually flew from my hand n hit me on my chin n chef jacket. Anywayz, sous chef drove me to hospital. Ended up with 4 stitches. He was telling me not to worry bout it, accidents happen to the best of us( He was reminding me bout all the accidents he had at work, trying to make me feel better). Anyways...pls pray for me, to recover quick n for the pain to stop. As it stands im going back to work tomorrow, hope it gets better by tonight. Yeap, really need your prayers right now. Thank God for His protection, could have easily been a lot more worse.

Yea i know its late! But, yes my excuse again is that i've been busy wif work... Even tho i had the day off on Canada's day, i was out pretty much the whole day. Well most of it anyways. Woke up pretty late cuz i havent been getting enough sleep these days. Spend the day with sis n hubby. So, we were in the car trying to decide what on earth we were gonna do, least the thing that didnt cost too much.^_^ So anyways we were feeling hungry, so we ended up going for lunch 1st. But of course by then after lunch it was pretty late to go somewhere where u had to pay to get in, so it didnt really make sense to go. So we ended up dropping by home for a change of clothes, then it was off to go visit my little cuz. We went to this little water park close by, where we had a water gun fight, which soon involved all the kids in the area...haha.. Anyways it was fun, got really wet, was good to just let loose i guess. Sun was shinning, so took of my shirt n dried off pretty quick. Didnt get to much of a tan tho, wasnt that sunny. Then came home thinking to watch the season's finale of Hell's Kitchen after dinner, turns out it was the 2nd last episode not the last...shesh! So didnt get a chance to go watch fireworks.

Moving on, sry for not replying all u guys msgs earlier, will try to reply once im done this post. Euro 08 happened really fast, been meaning to blog bout it but of course b4 i knew it, its all over! Shesh... and of course everyone knows off the outcome already. Geez, who would have thought that spain would take it home ehh? Yea n who would have thought russia would have even made it to the semis?! Honestly was rooting for the Oranjes! They had a really good start. oh well, least managed to catch a few matches on my days off.

So finally yet again after a long time, i finally decided its time for another post. Been really really really busy n stressed out w/ work as of late, i.e the past month or so...so much in fact that i had many diff ppl comment on how much weight i've lost n how thin i look. At least the bottom line is i know i have to trust God to c me thru in the end. I know i dont always feel Him there but in my heart i know he's always there for me. Even tho i let Him down constantly. One of the reason being is that its our busy season right now but not the busiest months of full swing summer, so u can only imagine how bad its gonna b. I'm trying hard not to think bout. Mostly the problem is that we'r drastically short staff n/or have incompetent staff. So lots of the older staff w/ me starting to feel pissed off w/ the situation. Not to mention part of the reason y i'm feeling like that is cuz i'm feeling burned out from not having a real vacation since my last one in '03 n cant wait for my next one. All i can say is pls remember me in your prayers.

Anywayz moving on, weather's been up n down lately....mostly still a little chilly, with the exception of warm days in between like today. K lost my train of thoughts. Cant remember what else i wanted to blog bout. Anywayz anyone have relatives or frens in china? Hope they are ok. Really shocked n sad to hear that so many ppl died already cuz of the earthquakes..Dont know bout back there, but over here their covering in all over the news channel almost everyday...

I know its kinda late but, yes yes as always i dont have the time or always forget to post on time. Oh yea, just so u guys know i added a music playlist on the top of my blog, it takes a while to load bout 2mins i think. I think its bcuz i added so many songs in it. Lolz. It was snowing today again?!?! Fyi for u non-canadians out there, its already spring here, tho it is kinda normal to c snow in spring, i figured since we had so much snow this past winter(in case u didnt know we had a record breaking amt of snow this total winter from like the 1900ish) so kinda figured that that was it. Well thank God it stopped.

Easter was really good. Was part of the production team this year. Was behind the scenes helping out w/ the multimedia. So good that i actually remember all the songs we sang n am still singing them off n on in my head still these days. Remembered parts of a conversation between Rach n i the other day, made me really think(worry a little-concern) bout some stuff.^_^

Anywayz spent a good part of the nite getting up my new music playlist up n running, so think im gonna go then. Oh yea b4 i forget, wanna holler at Shu Xian who i've not talk to for a while, who just dropped by my site. "u should visit me during winter time, its lots colder but u get to see snow!'^_^ All rite then i'm out.

So, been awhile again. Actually just recovered from being pretty sick. Thank God! What happen was, started out w/ having a flu, cough n a scratchy throat. Anyways, then last sunday nite, i started feeling really sick. Woke up in the ams n started throwing up n also had diarrhea. Yea it wasnt pretty, had to go twice b4 monday morning even came around. Anyways went to the doctor. He said i caught a stomach bug. Blood pressure was low. told me to drink lots of fluids. Yeap, but thank God im much better now. Had to call in sick to work. Felt like crap n am pretty sure i was contagious. Thank God im all good now tho.

Moving on, the biggest snowstorm ever in the history of canada just passed yday! See here for more details. Man shoveling snow, getting around, to n for work, anyways was crazy stupid! I mean it was so bad when i was coming home from work ppl were randomly leaving their cars in the middle of the roads, streets cuz it was so bad that they were stuck in the snow n couldnt move n finally gave up, turn of their engines, lock the car n walk home. (more so in the residential area) Anyways took a few pics of my hse the day after, where we shoveled all the snow to on that day n the day after. The snow was so high that we had difficulty to see properly while backing out of our driveway.








All that snow is just on the one side of my hse. Theres more on the other side, in my backyard on my deck. In the 1st pic all the snow that u c, in the summer time is where our grass is. Just to give u guys an idea of how much snow there was. I thought i almost had to spend the nite at work. We were actually joking around talking bout places or couches that we could crash on for the nite.^_^ Anyways thats all for now.

So...came back from work the other day n dad came up to me n said, "Hey i saw these soup bowls on sale the other day n started craving for my fav onion soup(hint hint)!" Anyways was off work the next day, so i decided y not? So went shopping in the morning n threw together a quick but tasty onion soup for dinner. Took a pic,

GONG XI FA CAI!!!

Yea yea i know its kinda late, but been busy n procrastinating as usual(obviously...duh). How was everyone's cny been so far? Mine has been good so far, well as good as it can get over here anywayz. I always wish i was in m'sia during cny as its always so much more festive feeling over there u know? Plus most ppl get the week off there so u could go visiting everyone, collecting lots of 'ang paus', stuffing your face silly w/ cny goodies! n what nots. Tho this year was ok i guess. Was planning to go out cny dinner w/ just my family on the eve this year. So rush home from work on the eve, only to find out dad decided then that we weren't going out as there was a really bad snowstorm going on! So mom(mostly) n i started rushing to prepare dinner! Haha...so anywayz then y'day we went to one of my aunt's hse for a big family reunion dinner. Mmmm, there was so much food there, everyone stuff themselves silly n still there was so much food leftover! Plus sumone brought all these cny cookies n goodies as well! Too bad i forgot to bring my camera...Later today everyone's going over to my eldest uncle's hse to visit n dinner afterwards. Yeap its all good, get to spend time w/ relatives so. Btw anyone notice as u get older the 'ang pows' seem to get smaller for some reason? Shesh...or mayb it's just for me or bcuz im not in m'sia. Can't get certain cny goodies as well over here. reminicing(right spelling?) bout childhood days, bout all the good cny goodies im missing!

Moving on, man weather's been weired these days! Snowstorm one day, another day its not too cold, another freezing rain n wind! Shesh even tho i been here for a while now i dont think i'll ever like winter. I mean i like snow n the look of it n all but when it comes down to shoveling, driving, walking in it, it really sucks. Esp when i have to be out the house early in the morning a good half nhour to 45mins just to shovel snow 1st thing it the morning that really sucks.

Works all right, cept i got into an accident at work this week on thursday, was pan frying some veal, when some oil splashed out of the pan n got me pretty good on my right hand, got like 2nd degree burn, don't ask me how i was so careless, it just happen. Still going to work. Valentine's coming up real soon, doing our set course meal menu again, 3 courses 3 choices each course at like $75 dollars each person i think? Can't quite remember. Hopefully will try to get some pics of the food we make so i can post it up soon. Speaking bout pics

So, after much deliberation, i've finally decided to revive my blog n as well as hearing all the wonderful things bout blogspot, i've decided to make the switch n try it out for myself. Anyways let me start out by wishing everyone a happy 2008, even tho its kinda really late!^_^ So how's everyone's new yr so far? Mine's all right. Just went to church on the eve, then came home n watch the countdown on TV(yea, i know its kinda weired but we don't do the countdown at church). Was on vacation but have been back at work for 2 weeks or so now. Oh yes just for a side note i kinda like how blogspot sets up the blogs, i guess u can say everything is kinda more user friendly. Esp since xanga introduced its new look. Was having some probs with some html stuff as it didn't seem to support the html i was using.


Anyways moving on, this past holiday was great, started on the 22nd of dec to jan 7th. Yea got to do some much needed stuff done. Managed to clean out my room!^_^ Bought some brand new spanking kitchen tools. Spent some time with my cuzs. Yeap was really fun. Plus of course some much needed rest. Yea was kinda waiting for this vacation since summer so...Work's been fine i guess. Settled back into things i guess. Been just bout 2 weeks now or almost i guess?

Been snowing off n on nowadays, tho this past weekend till now, it's been freaking cold! Temp's dipping to anywhere from 0`C to -20`C(sry don't know how to put in symbols yet)! So cold, it's like everytime u step out of the house your face freezes immediately! Oh btw does anyone know how to add smiles or symbols to your post by any chance? If so pls comment n let me know, thanx!^_^
